Nicola Brandon, Personnel & Training Manager at St Vincent’s comments on their journey so far;
Why did St Vincent’s decide to implement HR software?
As our organisation is growing, we needed a more sophisticated approach to managing and reporting on our people resource. We wanted to give managers real time information to help them make resource planning decisions and we wanted our staff to have access to simple and user friendly self service system.
Via which methods did you search for this?
We spent a lot of time looking for the right software to meet our needs. We went to tradeshows and did some research on the internet. We also spoke with our colleagues in the sector to get the inside track on what was available in the market.
How did you evaluate the various software options?
As I say, we spoke to a lot of colleagues in the housing sector. A few were already using Cascade and were very complimentary. We also did some site reference visits to see how the system worked in practice not just for HR but also the managers, the staff and the IT department.
Why did you choose Cascade?
It really covered all our needs at a very affordable price. The staff have been flexible and supportive throughout. It is important to us to have not only confidence in the product but also in the support. We really think Cascade can achieve this!
St Vincent’s decided to implement Cascade’s core HR module plus a range a flexible modules including Self Service, Training and Workflow – if you would like to find out more about our modules click here.
Support from a dedicated Project Manager and committed Client Services team will ensure Cascade is configured to meet St Vincent’s business objectives as described above.
