Twelve month of intense preparations have paid off for Cascade HR’s technology experts who have just returned to Leeds following their best HR Software Show yet!
Armed with a brand new stand, sacks full of educational white papers and some exciting product demonstrations, the 16 strong team wowed delegates with Cascade’s client-focused approach to software development, implementation and ongoing support.
Marketing manager Andy Court commented: “The 2011 exhibition proved a phenomenal success for Cascade, with us securing a record-breaking number of leads. We therefore had a challenge on our hands to beat last year’s performance but our friendly staff and continued commitment to industry education once again proved a hit.
“Our new demonstration pods were always occupied, and delegates enjoyed the space we provided for them to browse through our literature at their leisure.”
A client survey undertaken earlier in the year confirmed the hot topics for HR and payroll professionals in the UK, and Cascade’s hints and tips focused particularly on these themes at the show. Over 170 delegates for instance were shown how to calculate and work out the costs of absences, in only a few clicks of the Cascade software.
Cascade client Rosie Green, head of HR at Synergy Housing, also delivered a free, standing-room-only seminar entitled “Technology – alleviating the absence management headache.” Having devised, spearheaded and implemented an innovative absence management strategy in her 350-strong organisation, Rosie was keen to share her journey with her fellow peers.
She explained how in 12 months, with the help of Cascade, Synergy’s average number of sickness days fell from 12.96 to 5.13 (per annum), saving them over £285,000 and achieving an average 86% workplace satisfaction rate in the process!
Andy Court concludes: “If you were unable to attend the show, or if you missed Rosie’s presentation, don’t worry! We filmed some of the best bits and its available for you below. Rosie’s insightful absence management plan is also available upon request.”
