There’s going to be a flurry of activity in the Leeds headquarters of Cascade HR from 7-11 September, as the award-winning software vendor marks National Payroll Week. With a series of activities planned for clients, potential new customers and its own staff, the theme will be payroll knowledge transfer, with a hint of fun.
Client webinars will enable existing software users to pick up new technology-based payroll hints and tips, to maximise the return from their system. Cascade will also elaborate exclusively on some of the development plans it has for the next 12 months. Followed by quick-fire Q&A’s, these online sessions will provide an excellent opportunity to pick the brains of some of the most knowledgeable payroll software experts in the UK industry. Clients are also encouraged to enter a competition to win Cascade consultancy reward points, by simply completing a short online survey on auto enrolment and the new challenge of re-enrolment.
There’ll even be the potential for non-Cascade users – currently operating more limiting payroll software or spreadsheets – to book a free demonstration at their own offices, to Cascade’s fully integrated HR and payroll technology for themselves.
Commenting on the whirlwind of activity, Cascade’s Head of Marketing Andy Court said:
[blockquote] In truth we hold events like this throughout the year. However it’s important that we showcase our payroll expertise and generate as much conversation about payroll as possible, during this important week for the CIPP.
“There is a vast amount of knowledge within this profession, and it should very much be celebrated. We’re even hosting activities for our own staff. We’ll be holding some workshops in our ‘hub’ (employee breakout area), whereby each of our payroll specialists will pass newfound knowledge on to their colleagues, and there’ll be ‘first look’ training in some of the software’s upcoming new features.
And, because our HQ is renowned for its vibrant, fun atmosphere, Cascade’s Payroll Managed Service team is holding a bake off, and selling all creations in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. It looks set to be a busy but brilliant week.[/blockquote]
Offering fully-integrated HR and HMRC-accredited payroll software, Cascade has Payroll Quality Partnership (PQP) accreditation from the CIPP, an accolade held since 2010. Originally employing six payroll experts when the PQ P accolade was first secured, Cascade now has 25 staff dedicated to the discipline. This significant recruitment reflects the organisation’s considered investment in payroll-related solutions over the past five years.
A series of full day payroll user groups is also scheduled for Cascade clients during September.
