Last week saw Leeds-based Cascade HR; part of IRIS Human Capital Management; complete another hugely successful year at the CIPD HR and Software Show.
Held at the London Olympia Exhibition Centre, the two-day event ran between 15th-16th June, and saw Cascade exhibit alongside 44 other leading providers of HR and Payroll software solutions. Now in its 15th year, the prestigious event allows thousands of HR and Payroll professionals to meet, mingle and test-drive the very latest in integrated HR solutions.
[/one_half] Following on from a fantastic start to 2016, this year’s show acted as a platform for Cascade to showcase the exciting new products within their portfolio. Their recent acquisition of award-winning technology firm Octopus HR has led to the creation of CascadeGo, an easy to use, self-service online HR system specifically developed for the ‘micro to SME’ business segment, where companies typically have up to 100 employees. With 350 Cloud customers across the UK, the formation of CascadeGo has increased Cascade’s overall client base to more than 1,200 private sector organisations.
CascadeGo now enables Cascade to provide integrated HR and Payroll solutions to businesses of all sizes, and this exciting new product was extremely well-received at the show, drawing a huge amount of interest from prospects across all sectors.
Cascade’s new Recruitment+ module also proved to be a popular draw, with many people extremely excited by the opportunities this new offering could bring to their HR systems. Recruitment+ will further build upon Cascade’s existing Recruitment module, providing users with richer flexibility, reporting capabilities and vacancy design and navigation tools.
The event also offered the opportunity for visitors to attend a number of learning sessions. Randstad; one of the UK’s leading Recruitment agencies and a key Cascade customer, took to the stage on day one, with HR specialists Linzi Omar and Inese Teacher leading a presentation on ‘Top tips for tackling HR analytics without the headache.’ With only standing-room left in the Showcase area adjacent to Cascade’s stand, the session was a huge success, providing attendees with valuable insight into how to gain maximum value from their HR and Payroll metrics.
This year’s show additionally saw Cascade unveil a brand new, state-of-the-art stand, configured with 15 stand-alone demo areas. Having these designated pods allowed for a huge increase in the number of demo’s that took place across the two days, helping to build upon initial prospect interest and allowing for many system FAQ’s to be answered instantly.
Andy Court, Head of Marketing at Cascade said: “Once again, the HR and Payroll Software Show has been a hugely successful event for us. 2016 has already proved to be an exciting year, with new product and module developments, and the move to our new offices in Leeds. The show has helped us to effectively communicate these exciting developments to both existing customers and prospects, and interest in the overall Cascade brand has never been higher. With the addition of CascadeGo and our Recruitment+ module, we look set to continue on our winning streak for the rest of the year, and well into 2017.”
