Record breaking year for Cascade at HR Software Show

Months of behind-the-scenes effort preparing for the biggest event on the Human Resources calendar certainly paid off for Cascade’s hard-working software experts, with the 2013 CIPD HR Software show proving their biggest event to date.

The popular Cascade stand – manned this year by a 20-strong team – was constantly busy, and the business development team now have a record breaking number of leads to follow up. Cascade’s head of marketing Andy Court comments:

Our employees were constantly talking to delegates and demonstrating our award-winning product. The number of enquiries we’ve consequently received is up 26% on 2012 – and we thought that was a year we couldn’t top!

It just goes to show we are doing something right.

With an open-plan layout, the Cascade stand is designed to be a welcoming environment where both new and existing clients can network. Andy continues:

HRSS provides a great opportunity for us to meet prospective clients and showcase what Cascade is all about. But it’s nice to see some familiar faces too.

Every year for instance our clients are incredibly willing to take time out of their busy schedules to come along to the show and talk about their experiences of using Cascade. They know how much difference our software has made to their business, and how important a user insight was for them when they were first researching the marketplace.

Of course the Cascade team can talk about the intuitive nature of our technology, and the knowledge and dedication of our client services team, but ‘real life’ customer experiences tell that story so much better.

Change was one of the hottest topics being discussed amongst delegates at this year’s show. It was standing room only for instance when client Sarah Lowe – HR manager at Sika Limited – presented ‘Utilising HR Software to Effectively Manage Organisational Change in one of the seminar theatres.

Sarah has just successfully supported a 472-strong workforce during a £30m takeover. Details of her journey were so well received, that a number of people have already asked for a video of the presentation. This is currently in production and will be hitting the Cascade website next month.

Andy concludes:

With such exciting and challenging changes taking place at Sika all the time, Sarah is an extremely busy HR manager. The fact that she invested so much time and effort preparing a presentation for HRSS delegates, on behalf of Cascade, is something we are incredibly thankful for. Competitors do not seem to benefit from the same type of client endorsement at HRSS, so I believe that the continued client support that Cascade receives is an indication of how hard we work to look after our clients.
